Peace Time

Peace Time is a robust management tool for Minecraft servers that introduces a configurable Grace Period before enabling PvP (War Time). It’s the perfect solution for SMP, Hardcore, or Faction servers where you want players to focus on building and resource gathering before the "War" begins.

Features

  • Configurable Peace Duration
Set exactly how many Minecraft days players are safe from each other.

  • Automatic PvP Protection
No more manual intervention. Friendly fire is automatically disabled during the peace period.

  • Visual Countdown (Boss Bar)
A clean, non-intrusive boss bar tracks the remaining time.

  • Real-Life Time Conversion
While you configure the mod in Minecraft Days, it displays the remaining time in Hours, Minutes, and Seconds (Real-Life Time) for better clarity.

  • Immersive Transitions
Large on-screen titles and customizable chat reminders notify all players when "War Time" begins.

  • Persistent Tracking
The countdown is saved to the server data, meaning it persists through restarts and crashes.

How it Works

Upon reaching the configured number of days, the server will automatically transition from Peace Time to War Time.
During Peace Time, players cannot hurt each other.
Once War Time starts, PvP is globally enabled.

Commands (Operators only)

  • /peacetime set <days> — Start or reset a peace period of a specific duration.
  • /peacetime get — Check exactly how much time is left in the current state.
  • /peacetime reset — Immediately end the peace period and start War Time.

Configuration

The mod works perfectly with its default settings, but you can fully customize the experience in config/peacetime-common.toml:

  • Duration — Set the countdown from 0 to 10,000 days.
  • Visibility — Choose if the Boss Bar should be always visible, hidden, or only shown when time is running out.
  • Visuals — Customize the Boss Bar color (Green, Red, Blue, etc.).
  • Messages — Change the transition titles and periodic chat reminders.
