TougherThanLlamas
General Information
TougherThanLlamas has been made to overhaul almost all survival mechanics in some way, shape or form. Vanilla Minecraft has always been way too easy and fast-paced, focused on the sandbox side of things instead of the realistic survival mechanics. TougherThanLlamas is here to change that. Heavily inspired by FlowerChild's BetterThanWolfes, TougherThanLlamas implements a lot of similar features with enough exceptions to not be a straight-up revamp for the modern versions of Minecraft. The vision for TougherThanLlamas is for it to be super hard and not too tedious. It is to be hard, like you're always at the edge of death, not annoying (though some feature may be found "annoying" by newbies).
Dependencies
TougherThanLlamas NEEDS LambDynamicLights. It will NOT work without it.
Compatability
TougherThanLlamas reworks some lighting. Could therefore have problems with shaders. It could also have problems with other similar mods, as TougherThanLlamas revamps almost all Minecraft features.

Modified Mechanics
-
Random spawn within a 1000 block radius during night, without spawning at the same place twice. No occupied villages or free shipwreck loot, only deadness.
-
Realistic mining, including no wood-with-hand mining. Mining is at minimum 4x slower than vanilla.
-
Hardcore Healing, which only makes you heal every 20 (10 while saturated) seconds. Healing does, however, unlike vanilla, always work as long as you have at least the same or higher amount of hunger as health.
-
Hardcore Hunger, which makes the hungerbar deplete extremely fast during physical activity, especially running and jumping. The shake of the hunger bar shows faster hunger depletion.
-
Gloom turns caves pitch black, just like they would be if found in real life. Spending too much time in this gloomy environment will eventually kill you as the Dark Force takes you.
-
Animals are no longer brain-dead entities with no goals, but have complex systems they follow.
-
Monsters have all gotten new behaviour, which in some way should be tougher to deal with.
-
Sleeping has been revamped, no longer skipping the night, instead just fast-forwarding like in Terraria.
-
Crops have been altered, growing weeds which have to be cut. Bonemeal no longer acts like vanilla but acts like real fertilizers do.
-
No F3 menu, obviously.
-
Advancement tree fully revamped and used as an in-game guide.
-
So much more...
